If you could be anything right now, what would you be?
I’d like to be a cloud, floating in the sky.
Which book are you reading?
I’m reading “To the Lighthouse” by Virginia Woolf.
Which photographer is teaching you something?
Andrej Tarkovskij, Ariko Inaoka, Susanna Majuri
But my real mentors are painters: Caspar David Frederich and William Turner mostly.
Are you working on a particular project right now? Can you tell us something about it?
I’m working at “humaNature”, it’s a work in progress where I create correspondences and relationships between nature and the human being, revealing their harmonic integration and interpenetration and discovering new aspects of the human existence.
Why did you decide to express yourself using analog photography? And when did it happen?
Analog photography represents my style, with its nostalgic, ethereal and imperfect feelings. I started taking photos with films and I’ve never stopped.
Nature seems to be the main subject of your work: trees, seasons, elements. Is there a reason you would like to share with us?
I want to research the sublime in nature, showing its spiritual, mystic and symbolic sides.
I like to immerse myself completely in nature ‘cause there are no borders between natural elements and human consciousness.
