If you could be anything right now, what would you be?
A cat, over the roofs of San Francisco.
Which book are you reading?
In this moment I’m reading a thriller. I love this kind of books, because I adore intrigues, riddles and twists, I can let my imagination run wild.
Which photographer is teaching you something?
I think we can learn from everybody. Everyone can teach you a different way to see the world, and so to see photography. But, to answer your question, I can say that I love the way Man Ray sees the world, as well as Neil Krug and Lasse Hoile. I’m completely in love with their photographs.
Are you working on a particular project right now? Can you tell us something about it?
Yep. In this moment I’m working on my first exhibition. It will be an opportunity for interaction between different arts: photography, music and dance.
The majority of your pictures are taken outside, fresh air trees leaves. What is your relationship with nature?
Nature is perfection. I believe in the law of nature, in the natural balance that influences our lifes.
For these reasons I believe in karma. It’s a law about causes and effects and, like the other laws of nature, transcends right and wrong.
It looks like photography is a very intimate business for you. What would you like to achieve with it?
My photos are very different one another. They are a reflection of myself and of all the ways I face my life. This is the reason why I take pictures: to represent my reality. Nothing should glide out of our minds. With my camera I want to catch, not the moment, but the emotions, dreams, hope, feelings – like pain and anger -, that make me what I am.
