Are you vegetarian/would you like to be vegetarian?
No, I’m not and I do not know if I can become one, but I respect those who have decided to take this path and do not stress you because you don’t do the same.
Did you study photography in school?
I’m attending the first year of the Academia di Brera, and one of the subjects was photograph. It was a really interesting course, that made me see the picture under another point of view.
But before this year, no, I never studied photography.
A picture that you would love to take.
I’d like to take a picture with Abbie Cornish and Joaquin Phoenix, in a small chalet lost in one of those beautiful and snowy forests in Finland.
Do you sell your prints online? Why?
Yes, because to know that my photos are all around the world, makes me happy.
Have you ever attended photographic workshops?
No, I have not yet had the opportunity. But I’d like to attend a workshop done well.
Do you like looking at your old pictures?
Yes, because so I can see how I started and where I am. I can see how I have improved over time.
Do you have prints of your works hung on your walls?
Yes, I only have one on the wall of my desk. A large print of me and my sister’s backs with bunny and mouse ears.
Then I have a series of photos taken during a beach vacation several years ago, all around the headboard of my bed.
What social networks are you using? Are they working for your career?
I use Facebook, Flickr, Twitter (not so much), Tumblr, Cargo. Facebook and Flickr are two platforms that have been more useful for me and my works, introducing me to a lot of interesting people and helping me finding some work proposals and collaborations. They are very useful for advertising, too.
Do you believe in horoscopes?
Hahahah, horoscopes. No, I don’t believe in them, I read them sometimes, just to laugh.
A picture that is very important for you.
All my photographs are important for me, for one reason or another.
They are all present in my heart /and in my eyes.
Your comfy food.
Chocolate chip cookies
Are you currently planning any trip?
Right now, unfortunately, not.
But it’s been three years that I want to visit Great Britain, but for various reasons, I have not been able to go yet. I hope to visit it sooner or later!
The photographer you would like to spend time working with.
Tim Walker and other photographers I follow, very good indeed, but I will never have the chance to meet them. There are so many names, I do not want to forget someone.
What is the best photographic book you have seen and why.
Pictures by Tim Walker, because it’s pure magic.
