Where are you from? Where do you live?
I’m from Reggio nell’Emilia but it’s 7 years that I’m living in Milan.
How old are you?
How do you pay your bills? Are you working as a professional photographer?
I believe in photography as an art, but I can’t make a living out of this, so I prostitute myself doing photography and video for fashion and advertising campaigns. So, to answer your question: yes, I do make my living with photography, though I’m hoping to free myself of the ad work in the future.
What cameras do you use?
I prefer to use analogue cameras, preferably 35mm. I am particularly fond of my Nikon f80 and a Contax t2.
Any photographer or artist inspiring you?
Luigi Ghirri, Pasolini, George Harrison and Dennis Hopper. I love their coherence in making what they did.
What/who do you enjoy to shoot the most?
I love what I live, I shoot what I love. I love living photography in a personal way, watching and capturing frames from the world I would like to live in.
Do you believe in god?
Yes and no. I just wanna be safe.
What do you drink on a night out?
I really love a good grappa or acquavitae but these are usually not easy to find around town, so I usually go for a vodka and ginger. I love ginger.
Do you like dancing?
l like listening to good music and good djs too, so I really should be dancing more.
What’s your favorite first name?
My own. With two m.
Are you a fashion addicted?
Oh no, I hate them. I do care about how I dress, but I usually buy clothes for one euro a piece.
What’s your favorite tv series?
Twin Peaks and The Soprano’s.

What’s the country of your dreams?
I’d like to travel a lot before deciding.
Have you ever been to Iceland?
Yes. I love it. I’ve lived there for two months; it was the best place I’ve never been.
