If you could be anything right now, what would you be?
A rocket, for going faster and high through the air.
Which book are you reading?
I’ve already finished “the naked lunch” by William Burroughs, it’s an allucinate novel, but for me it is very inspiring.
Which photographer is teaching you something?
There are many photographers that are teaching me something and inspiring me, starting from the “school of Dusseldorf”, to Luigi Ghirri, but the last one is for sure Josef Hoflehner, he’s teaching me silence.
Are you working on a particular project right now? Can you tell us something about it?
I’m working on the relation between biology and technology, artificial and natural, of course in photography, but even in the other kind of art that I practice: painting, sculpture and videomaking, and maybe, some day, in architecture too.
Where do you live and are you working as a photographer right now?
I live in Como and I work in Milan right now.
Would you like tell us something about your cars’ obsession?
It’s not really an obsession, it’s more similar to a fetishism, I love cars since I was very young, especially vintage cars. I love particularly the design, of course, I like to watch and touch the curves, I like little details and well done works, and of course the engine. I feel like a Futurist, I love everything that is a Machine, mechanical things and speed, noise, electricity, metal and industrial machines.
